Every day that number grows So if you think that if you make it, then the readers come. What do you do when you launch your new blog? You have to drive traffic.
You can do eight things while launching a new blog on the Internet.
Table of Contents
In the early days of your blog, you will spend so much time promoting it, you cannot have more time to write. Launch at least three posts so that the blog looks something like this.
Written, relevant, keyword-researched, and search-optimized posts worth at least one month or two are included in your post file and they have been estimated to be prime time for their visitors… For most businesses, prime time takes place from Monday to Wednesday at 9 pm.
After a while, you can also look at Google Analytics to find your time sweet spot.
To understand your prime time, gauge your click-through rate on Google Analytics, with an account you already set, with Search Console (Webmaster Tools). Register your site on all major search engines: Use Google, Bing, and Yahoo and all the tools they offer.
While your Yoast SEO plugin will ping (request indexing) search engines about your latest post, you can also make a request manually. Ask Google to index a post on Search Console>Inspect any URL>Put your URL
Increase an Email List
You should have an opt-in email list attached to your blog or otherwise, you can give up. Receiving the list of followers does not have any other fundamental aspect of blogging. These are your people, your tribe, those who read what you read. They need farming.
Set up a free third-party email service that provides tools for opt-in forms and connects it to your RSS feed so that each post you launch will expire as an email in their inbox. Call-to-action is asked to subscribe to visitors anywhere on your site, if not in the text, in the sidebar or footer.
Provide a downloadable gift to add to your temptation. An eBook or a white paper is an excellent intellectual offering, or maybe you have something else to offer? Email all your friends and contacts and ask them to opt-in to your list. On social media, ask your followers to opt-in.
Again, if you do not start creating an email list from the first day, ask yourself, why are you blogging?
