Incredible Examples of Social Media Marketing Campaigns. As we are halfway through 2020, it takes a little early to think about the ‘best’ lists. Last year was very good, as it happens, so we thought we would crawl a little bit through it, and see which campaigns really motivate us.
The first one on the list? A unique and lucky entry by one of the few brands which are not really dependent on luck. Here are some Incredible Examples of Social Media Marketing Campaigns
The brand is solid (keeping in mind some unfortunate incidents in the UK recently) and its Twitter account does not need to work hard. It has been closed. However, KFC Twitter account is in the form of Meta because it can possibly be ever. Do you know that big brands only follow some other accounts?
It is about the specificity, and the brand has a unique place in modern culture. KFC chases 11 people on Twitter. 11 people include all Spice Girls and 5 people who have been named Herb.
In late 2017 a Twitter user has seen that this means the brand followed five spices and herbs 6, which neatly matched it is boasting of having a secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices. A funny joke, but someone saw it until someone did it.
In October last year, a boy tweeted that he would just joke and the whole thing became viral. As if to confirm that they did not really worry about marketing, a KFC spokesman says that they just got a hope that it has become popular as an idea in ‘this Put it out there on the record ‘
It received about 2000 comments.
One of the other successful social media campaigns in 2017 is that in which the Instagram was taken with a hashtag which was cleverly mixed with an excellent and powerful idea.
The Instagram Campaign
It was more of a movement, but it showed the best bits about social media. Which included a comment on one of the failures of hashtags and social media culture. Catlin Bristo is an influencer, and he used his influence well. Essentially, he wanted to show young people that images and airbrush campaigns on Instagram were not reality, and ‘being beautiful’ meant to be self.
Then the whole thing kicked the group of other influencers and celebrities, all of them were worn without makeup and filters. This is proof of the power of the hashtag and in a year there is a reminder at the time of respect value, which has seriously reduced.
Wix and Audience Participation
Wix makes websites very fast and very efficiently. Many small businesses and freelancers swear that this is their best thing that ever happened to them. He pulled an amazing social media campaign during the Super Bowl time at the beginning of 2017.
After walking to the big game, he trapped a football helmet in a block of ice every day. Then they set fire on them and melted the block. When Hammett fell, then someone won $ 10,000. It continued till the day of the game when $ 50,000 could have been won.
These were all very exciting things, and the best thing about it was that the competition was being taken at the ‘NH’ level.
The whole thing was done through Facebook Live, which ended in a hip super barn TV commercial on Game Day.
Another hashtag, which was filled with important movements in a year and people owned their issues. Nonetheless, it was about a load of celebrities in Puerto Rico for the storm, and their youthful years (funny and main in shame, for all of us, for all of us) to raise money for post-relief efforts. It was very fun, and it was easy.
The campaign was clear evidence that if any idea resonates with people, it will fly, and if you are lucky then it will also help people.
In America, huge fast food is huge, and a brand which also does not need to do anything other than cool. But it decided to go a little further and run a snapchat (yes, brand it used) campaign around Sinko de Mayo Holiday.
This campaign created a filter which actually allowed the user to become a taco by putting a taco on their face. If it sounds weird, then it is weird, it is weird. However, the whole thing was ‘meta’ on users by running a campaign for only one day.
If it has not yet sunk, then that decision was very good. Why? Since Snapchat is known as a floating platform, float. One day’s talk made a cure.
With 224 million views a day, it became the most viewed snapchat lens ever.
So why were these most effective social media campaigns?
First of all, they worked. Except for a marketing objective (perhaps, for the inclination of KFC’s work), a team or person escaped with it, and the result was achieved. Even the aim of the #RailStream campaign was to raise awareness.
They were also effective because they capitalized on one aspect of the social media which showed some sensible. It is wise to know the power of the hashtag and how to use them with the audience. Understanding how a lens can make a quick discussion shows great social media understanding.
And an effective social media campaign that you probably did not know …
Uber And Singapore.
Uber did not have a good year, let’s be honest. But they are good in mission thing. And in 2017, they managed to take a huge step towards their goal of reducing traffic congestion in Singapore. There is a trend in Singapore called ‘chops’, where people reserve seats on transport, leaving tissue packets at the desired location.
Uber kept huge tissue packets in the parking bay around Singapore, basically ‘cutting’ (we think this is a word) car travel spaces. It was a talent. Look at it and feel amazed.
